Biography

Ahmed Elsabbagh, MD, MS, MRCS, PhD is an Associate Professor, Transplant, Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) and Gastrointestinal surgeon at Gastrointestinal Surgery and Liver Transplantation Center, Mansoura University, Egypt, one of the top centers in Living Donor Liver Transplantation. Formerly, he served as an Associate Professor, Multi-Organ Transplant and HPB surgeon at St. Vincent hospital, Indianapolis, USA. He is an American Board of Surgery certified. He is an active member in many international and national transplant and HPB surgery societies, a member at large of International Society of Liver Surgeons (ISLS), a member of Living Donation Committee in American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS), a member of Education & Scholarship Committee in International Liver Transplant Society and a member of Royal College of Surgeons of England. He served on the International Pediatric Transplant Association (IPTA) Education Committee.
